Here's the deal, Shady Grove Church cares about one thing more than anything else, Jesus Christ. Shady Grove Church is a family of individuals that have found hope in Jesus, and simply want as many people as possible to experience that exact same freedom.

Shady Grove Church’s journey began in 1995 as a new church plant named Daystar Church in Kimberly, Alabama. Just eight months later, we made the decision to move to Mount Olive, Alabama on Shady Grove Road. Here we purchased the building we are still in today and began our journey to impact the town of Mount Olive. In early 2022, Daystar Church started a journey of transofrmation. Recogonizing the need to refresh our identity and better focus our mission to serve our community, we decided to rename the church Shady Grove Church in order to more appropriately connect with our community and better convey the sense of peace we hope to extend to those on Shady Grove Road and surrounding areas..

What's the bottom line? More than ever, Shady Grove Church is committed to providing an atmosphere where both families and individuals can find physical, emotional, and spiritual healing. A place they can find peace during times of distress. And a place they can find salvation through Jesus Christ.
